How CreatorVibe ranks creators, how to claim your profile, how to climb, and what makes us different. Want deeper detail on the ranking formula? See the methodology page.

How does CreatorVibe rank creators?

CreatorVibe ranks creators each week using a weighted composite of five signals: audience love (25%), engagement rate (25%), subscriber growth (25%), view velocity (15%), and consistency (10%). All signals are normalised within the creator's (language, niche) cohort, so comparisons are between peers rather than absolute numbers. Full methodology in /community/methodology.

Why am I ranked where I am?

Your rank is determined by your composite score relative to other creators in the same language and niche. The biggest factors are audience love and engagement rate (25% each) plus subscriber growth (25%). If you are below the cohort median on those, that is usually why. Visit your creator profile and you will see the full score breakdown so you can see exactly which signals drove your rank.

How can I climb the leaderboard?

Improve the signals you control. Audience love and engagement rate (25% each) compound the fastest, and they are the hardest for competitors to fake. Practical moves: respond to comments to deepen engagement, build genuine community so comment sentiment stays positive, upload on a steady rhythm (consistency rewards regular gaps, not bursts), and focus on retention so views grow faster than subs. Buying subscribers or views hurts your rank because it lowers engagement rate and audience love.

Can I claim my channel?

Yes. The claim flow is rolling out — currently we accept claims via direct contact. Once claimed, you can see your private score breakdown, audience demographics (after granting YouTube Analytics access), edit your bio, and unlock the brand-collaboration directory for Phase 3. To claim today, DM us via the social links in the footer or the Get Listed CTA in the nav.

What is the Audience Love score?

Audience Love is a 0-100 score that captures how much a creator's audience actively engages versus passively watches. It currently uses engagement rate as a proxy. The next iteration uses comment sentiment analysis (Gemini 2.5 Flash) to factor in positivity, comment depth, reply density, and cultural-language markers like "anna", "mana creator", or regional emotional vocabulary. A high Audience Love score means a community, not just viewers.

Where does the data come from?

All public data comes from the official YouTube Data API v3. We pull channel statistics, recent video metadata, and view/like/comment counts. We never use the search API (too quota-expensive) and never scrape pages. Derived signals (Audience Love, Consistency, Discovery Velocity) are computed by CreatorVibe from successive daily snapshots. We do not have access to watch time, demographics, or revenue — those are owner-only via YouTube Analytics API and only unlocked after a creator claims their profile. Full data-handling disclosure at /privacy.

How often does it update?

Every day at 08:00 IST (02:30 UTC), an automated pipeline pulls fresh stats, computes weekly rollups, re-ranks all boards, and updates the live site. Movement arrows compare the current week to the previous week. Hidden Gems and Rising Stars boards activate once we have at least two consecutive weeks of data per cohort.

How is CreatorVibe different from Social Blade?

Three differences. First, CreatorVibe ranks within language and niche cohorts (Telugu Tech, Tamil Finance) instead of global lists, so comparisons are fair. Second, we use multiple signals weighted together — not just subscriber count — so creators with small but rabid audiences surface as Hidden Gems instead of being buried. Third, we have an editorial layer: a weekly digest, hidden-gem stories, and topic resonance. Social Blade is a stats dashboard; CreatorVibe is a discovery platform.

Is CreatorVibe affiliated with YouTube or Google?

No. CreatorVibe is an independent platform that uses the public YouTube Data API. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with YouTube, Google, or Alphabet.

Can I be removed from the leaderboard?

Yes. If you are a creator and want to be removed, email hello@creatorvibe.in from an address linked to your YouTube channel (or include your channel handle plus a verification step). We act on verified removal requests within 7 days. Stored raw data is deleted; derived aggregate signals are scrubbed within 30 days per YouTube API ToS. Full process at /privacy.

Which languages and niches are tracked?

CreatorVibe launched with Telugu Tech and is expanding. Telugu Finance and Tamil Tech are next. The platform architecture supports any (language, niche) pair — Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, English × Tech, Finance, Gaming, Education, Comedy, News, Lifestyle, Food, Fitness, Motivation. New cohorts launch when we have at least 20 quality creators to seed them with.

How do I submit a creator?

We hand-curate the seed list per language and niche, so we accept suggestions. The submit flow is rolling out (see /community page for "Submit a creator" — currently in soft-launch). For now, DM us with the YouTube handle or channel ID and we will evaluate.
